Job Title: Business Process Owner Scheduling (SAP S/4HANA)
Location: North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany (Hybrid Working Model)
Company Overview:
We are partnering with a leading enterprise with a turnover of €48 billion, which is embarking on a transformative journey to launch its Business & Digital Transformation program at a European level. This ambitious program will be based on SAP S/4HANA and will involve transforming business processes across 60+ plants, particularly in the glass, gypsum, mortars, and insulation streams.
Position Overview:
As a Business Process Owner Scheduling (BPO) in this exciting, multi-year program, you will play a key role in executing the strategic goals of this enterprise-wide transformation. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the supply chain transformation at a European scale and help shape the future of the company's operations.
You will work closely with the Business Transformation Director and the SMM division to ensure successful implementation and operationalization of SAP S/4HANA solutions, focusing on scheduling processes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse the maturity levels of geographical clusters, including Germany, Austria, and France, understanding their needs, and aligning these with SAP S/4HANA capabilities to drive process improvements and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse the maturity level of scheduling processes across geographical clusters (Germany, Austria, France) to identify areas of improvement.
- Coordinate with SAP technical experts to ensure the smooth translation of business needs into S/4HANA solutions.
- Contribute to the execution of the European Business & Digital Transformation program, focusing on scheduling in the supply chain.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of the new SAP S/4HANA scheduling solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve the scheduling processes across the plants, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with international teams of Business Process Owners to share knowledge and ensure best practices are applied across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in supply chain management, ideally with knowledge of SAP DS/Scheduling (or related modules such as APO, IBP).
- Proven ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, ideally with experience in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Project management skills are a plus, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-year programs.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German, French, or other European languages is a plus.
