About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis. As the SAP Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our data by designing and implementing effective data profiling and cleansing strategies. You will act as a techno-functional liaison, bridging the gap between our business and technical teams to deliver robust data solutions.
Responsibilities:
Act as a techno-functional liaison, effectively communicating between functional (business) and technical teams.
Translate business rules and functional processes into specific data components required for data profiling and cleansing activities.
Coordinate and gather all necessary information required for comprehensive data profiling and cleansing initiatives.
Build and define data profiling and cleansing rules based on business requirements and data analysis.
Review existing data cleansing rules and develop plans to assess their impact on existing business or technical processes.
Analyse profiling results to identify data quality issues and provide clear recommendations for cleansing and transformation (ETL) from the perspective of the target data architecture.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Data Architect or similar role with a strong focus on data quality, data profiling, and data cleansing.
Demonstrable ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for data processes.
Experience in coordinating and gathering information from various stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Strong understanding of data profiling methodologies and the development of data cleansing rules.
Ability to analyse data profiling results and provide actionable recommendations for data improvement.
Familiarity with data transformation (ETL) processes and their impact on data architecture.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technicalaudiences.
Fluency in English is essential.
Must be based within a country that is a member of the European Union.
