Position Overview: As the Director within SAP for our client's specialist consultancy, you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation projects within the life sciences industry. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead the SAP consulting practice, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy for digital transformation in the life sciences industry.
- Drive the strategic vision for SAP implementations and innovations, ensuring solutions meet the unique needs of life sciences clients.
- Establish and nurture relationships with senior executives, both internally and at client organizations, to shape SAP adoption strategies.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their digital transformation goals and business requirements within the life sciences sector.
- Oversee end-to-end SAP solution delivery, including pre-sales, scoping, implementation, and post-go-live support.
- Manage high-level client relationships, ensuring the successful adoption of SAP solutions and driving long-term engagements.

SAP Solution Delivery:
- Oversee and guide the execution of large-scale SAP transformation projects, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Provide expertise in SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP QM, and SAP PM, customizing solutions to meet client needs.
- Lead the implementation of best practices for SAP systems integration, data migration, process optimization, and cloud transformation.

Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Drive skills development and continuous learning within the SAP team to keep pace with emerging trends in SAP technologies and the life sciences sector.
- Provide oversight and guidance to project teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and fostering a culture of excellence.

Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Play an active role in business development efforts, identifying opportunities to expand the firm’s SAP capabilities in the life sciences market.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive thought leadership, develop proposals, and contribute to sales strategies.
- Contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by securing new projects, building a strong pipeline, and maintaining high client satisfaction.

Thought Leadership & Industry Expertise:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, challenges, and technological advancements in the SAP ecosystem and life sciences industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, showcasing expertise and contributing to the firm’s thought leadership.
- Contribute to white papers, blogs, and other content to position the consultancy as a leader in SAP solutions for life sciences.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field. SAP certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in SAP consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Significant experience in delivering SAP projects within the life sciences industry is required.
- Skills:
- Deep technical knowledge of SAP products and solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of life sciences business processes, including pharma manufacturing, supply chain management, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale SAP transformation projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, client-facing, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, drive high performance, and mentor junior staff.
