SAP MM Procure-to-Pay Lead - German Speaking

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) work stream within our ongoing global SAP S/4HANA template project. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding all business processes related to procurement, purchasing, and payments. You will manage a team of up to 10 consultants and collaborate with various customer team members.


Responsibilities:

Workstream Leadership:

• Lead the end-to-end P2P workstream, ensuring successful implementation of the global SAP S/4HANA template.
• Develop and execute realistic sprint plans in Jira, maintaining a 4-week sprint cycle.

• Plan, prepare, and conduct Fit-to-Template workshops and deep dives for new international hubs.
• Gather requirements for future template releases.

• Analyse and integrate customer-specific developments into the global SAP S/4HANA template.
• Provide expert-level customisation in SAP MM-PUR.
• Crafting customising and technical concepts.

• Communicate effectively with diverse business stakeholders across multiple segments and strategic business units.
• Demonstrate strong assertiveness by advocating for the adoption of a harmonised and standardised global template and do this against brownfield requests.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP MM-PUR (Materials Management Purchasing).
• Experience in designing complex SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Strong SAP Customising Expertise.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of up to 10 consultants.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

• Experience with availability checks in discrete industries.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, high-tech

• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, PP, QM, VC.

• Project Status: Ongoing project, started in April 2021.
• Start Date: Flexible, ideally starting in April (negotiable).
• Location: Remote with 1 trip per month to client site in Germany
