Overview: Masentó is seeking a skilled S/4 Finance Consultant to join our team at a leading Swiss insurance client in Zurich. As we transition from the explore phase into solution design, we need a German-speaking professional to support the finance accounting functionalities of the project. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance sector and a solid understanding of Swiss pensions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document finance accounting requirements within the insurance domain.
Contribute to the design and development of finance-related solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
Leverage knowledge of finance accounting principles to provide insights and recommendations throughout the solution design phase.
Engage in workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide feedback, and ensure alignment among teams.
Support the integration of finance functionalities with other systems and processes within the organization.
Assist in the identification and mitigation of risks associated with finance accounting functionalities.
Document processes, designs, and decisions to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain project transparency.
Qualifications:
Fluency in German (spoken and written) is essential; proficiency in English is a plus.
Proven experience as a Finance Consultant or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of finance accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with Swiss pension systems and regulations is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This position will require you to work on-site in Zurich for 2 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 3 days.
The initial contract is for 3-6 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
