Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Munich, Germany

Masentó are partnered with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company dedicated to improving lives through innovation in drug discovery, production, and delivery.
We are actively searching for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a multi-disciplined team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to optimize manufacturing processes, predictive maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets from manufacturing systems, IoT devices, and lab operations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, process engineers, and quality assurance teams to identify use cases and develop solutions.
• Develop and maintain ML pipelines and integrate them with existing manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP).
• Lead and mentor a team of junior ML engineers and data scientists.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Proven track record of working on end-to-end ML projects in industrial settings.
• Strong expertise in Python, R, or other programming languages for ML development.
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
