Senior Principle - Power and Utilities (Germany)
Masentó Search has been engaged on an exclusive basis by a management consulting business to find a Senior Principle with Power and Utilities industry experience in Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role within the expanding footprint in the Utilities industry segment, focusing on developing new business opportunities, shaping solutions for clients, and delivering strategic programs.

Your primary focus will be on helping clients harness emerging and mature technologies to solve critical business challenges; developing propositions and thought leadership collateral, and leveraging relationships to create new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Play a significant delivery leadership role on selected target clients.
- Collaborate with the European Utilities Industry team to develop, shape, and deliver client advisory and technology-enabled transformation engagements.
- Work independently and/or lead medium-sized teams across multiple geographies.
- Assist in the development of Value Propositions targeted at C-level executives, leveraging emerging and established solutions to address clients' operational and strategic challenges in the Utilities industry.
- Contribute to the development of Market Offerings supported by relevant points of view to sustain a presence in the marketplace.
- Participate in the pursuit and delivery of value-driven deals.
- Support the shaping and delivery of value and outcome-based consulting and transformation engagements.
Leadership and Growth:
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing consulting team.
- Assist in coaching direct reports within the practice, supporting their learning and development.
- Set expectations and lead by example, demonstrating desired behaviours and taking accountability.
Pre-requisite Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in consulting and transformation engagements, primarily in Utilities; broader experience in the Energy industry is a plus.
- Strong client contacts with the ability to quickly open doors and initiate engagements.
- Experience in business development, with exposure to various aspects of the sales cycle.
- Ability to provide direction and coordination across strategy creation and innovation delivery engagements.
- Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints.
- In-depth understanding of the industry, regulatory regimes, and trends.
- Familiarity with established and emerging technologies relevant to the industry.
Education:
- Strong academic background from a Tier-1 graduate institution and/or a postgraduate degree.
